What we watch on a Melton Mowbray system

Local conditions: Higher and more open than the Soar valley, with cold air pooling in the Vale on clear winter nights.
The housing here: Melton is a market town of brick and ironstone, with Victorian terraces near the centre and stone villages across the Vale of Belvoir and the Wolds around it.
On the day: A booked time slot rather than a morning or afternoon window, a full performance check against the commissioning figures, and a written report you keep for the warranty.

MCS CertifiedOur air source heat pump installations are carried out by MCS-certified engineers — the standard required for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant (£7,500 for homes on mains gas or £9,000 for homes on oil or LPG) and manufacturer warranties.

Servicing a Melton Mowbray system

How often: Once a year. Most manufacturers make a documented annual service a condition of the warranty, so a missed year can leave the expensive parts of the system uncovered.
What we measure: Airflow, refrigerant, system pressure, delta T and flow rates, checked against the figures the system was commissioned at rather than against a general expectation.
The property side: Rural ironstone property with thick walls and large rooms is the typical job here, and those are the houses where emitter sizing decides whether the running costs work.
What you get: A written report each visit, kept on file, plus care plan options that include cover for call-outs.
