Leicestershire systems, and how they age

A service is a measurement job, not a look-over.

Central Midlands climate without extremes, though the Charnwood uplands are colder and more exposed than the Soar valley.

Leicestershire runs from the granite villages of Charnwood Forest through the ironstone of the east of the county to the National Forest in the west, with market towns and modern estates between them.

Servicing a Leicestershire system

How often

Once a year. Most manufacturers make a documented annual service a condition of the warranty, so a missed year can leave the expensive parts of the system uncovered.

What we measure

Airflow, refrigerant, system pressure, delta T and flow rates, checked against the figures the system was commissioned at rather than against a general expectation.

The property side

Stone and ironstone properties behave quite differently from the county's newer estate housing, and the same nominal size of house can want a very different system. That is a survey question, not a catalogue question.

What you get

A written report each visit, kept on file, plus care plan options that include cover for call-outs.
