Air Source Heat Pump Servicing in Lincolnshire

Servicing heat pumps in Lincolnshire

What the local housing and weather do to a heat pump between services.

Lincolnshire is a big rural county - fen villages, Wolds stone, Georgian market towns and coastal bungalow stock - and a large part of it is nowhere near a gas main.

Flat, open and exposed, with wind and salt off the Wash and the North Sea coast worth designing for on eastern plots.

A Lincolnshire service, in detail

What an annual visit actually covers.

Component inspection. Fan bearings, heat exchangers, expansion vessels, valves and both sets of coils checked for dirt and wear.
Performance against commissioning. Airflow, refrigerant, system pressure, delta T and flow rates measured and compared with the figures the system was signed off at.
Filters and the magnetic filter. Cleaned or replaced, with the glycol checked where the system uses it.
Controls and wiring. Thermostats, controls and electrical connections tested, and the settings put back where the design intended.
The property side. Larger, older, detached rural property is the norm rather than the exception here, and those are the homes where the difference between a surveyed design and a guessed one shows up hardest in the running costs.
