Air Source Heat Pump Servicing in Doncaster

Servicing heat pumps in Doncaster

What the local housing and weather do to a heat pump between services.

Doncaster is flat and spread out: Victorian terraces near the centre, big postwar estates, and former colliery villages like Armthorpe, Rossington and Edlington around the edge.

Flat and open with little natural shelter, so wind exposure on the outdoor unit is worth designing around.

Servicing a Doncaster system

How often: Once a year. Most manufacturers make a documented annual service a condition of the warranty, so a missed year can leave the expensive parts of the system uncovered.
What we measure: Airflow, refrigerant, system pressure, delta T and flow rates, checked against the figures the system was commissioned at rather than against a general expectation.
The property side: Colliery housing tends to be solid brick with modest room sizes, so the emitter schedule usually decides the flow temperature. The postwar stock and modern estates are considerably easier.
What you get: A written report each visit, kept on file, plus care plan options that include cover for call-outs.
